Diff Comments

Diff comments let you review code directly where the change happened. Use them for team review, or send a specific line back into the chat so the agent can explain, fix, or revisit it.

Add a comment

1. Open a session diff from the current turn or from the Changes sidebar.
2. Hover a commentable line and click the + beside the line number.
3. Write your comment. Markdown is supported.
4. Click Comment, or press Ctrl+Enter / Cmd+Enter.

On mobile, tap a commentable diff line to open the comment box.

Reply and resolve

Comments appear as threads under the diff line. You can:

• reply in the same thread
• edit or delete your own comments
• click Resolve when the thread is done
• click Unresolve to reopen it
• collapse a thread when you only need the summary

Send a thread to the agent

Use the send button on a comment thread to reference it in the current chat. Then ask the agent to address the comment, explain the tradeoff, or make the requested fix.

Sync with GitHub

When the session is linked to a GitHub PR, new Lody comments can be synced as GitHub PR Review line comments by enabling Sync to GitHub.

Lody also loads existing GitHub PR Review threads into the diff. You can read them in context and reply from Lody; replies are posted back to GitHub.
