In-Conversation Search
In-conversation search helps you recover context from long sessions. It searches user messages, agent replies, plan items, thinking blocks, tool titles, file paths, terminal commands, terminal output, JSON output, and diff content.
Open search
- Open the session menu and choose Find in conversation.
- On desktop, press
Ctrl+F; on macOS, pressCmd+F.
The search box appears over the conversation without taking over the composer.
Move through results
- Matching text is highlighted as you type.
- The counter shows the current result and total matches.
- Press
Enterto jump to the next match. - Press
Shift+Enteror the up arrow to jump to the previous match. - If nothing matches, the counter shows
0 / 0.
The active result scrolls into view. For longer tool output or terminal blocks, Lody tries to bring the matching block into focus.
Clear or close
Press Escape once to clear the current query. Press Escape again to close search.
